Wedding Season will soon be upon us!   floral_work_tools

Now is the time to be meeting with your florist to begin all the planning for your floral needs.   Your flowers should help set the theme of your wedding and you should know exactly what you will be getting for flowers and service on the big day.   Here are some questions to ask your florist during one of your first consultations:

  1. Can I see pictures of your past wedding work and will the same designer be doing my wedding?
  2. Have you done any weddings at my venue? Do you know the church?
  3. How many weddings do you don on any given week?
  4. Do you rent any products or do we have to buy? And if we rent, how does that work?
  5. Do you deliver and how much is that? Is there a set-up fee if I need set up?
  6. What flowers are seasonal for my wedding?
  7. I have a limited budget, can you work with me in my budget and how can I save money?
  8. Do you preserve bouquets?
  9. Who will I be working with?
  10. Can you make samples for me and when?
  11. Can I change my order if I have another idea? What’s the cut off date for new ideas?
  12. Do you have a contract and what is your payment plan for the wedding?
  13. How many times should we meet before the wedding?
  14. Will I see you personally on my wedding day?
